1989
This Picture must have been taken in January of 89. I'am standing at the
foot of Tallowbox Look-out tower. In The applegate valley. Its snowing.
Of Course. My Fiend Roger and I took a little Hike up there.
This is Roger. I didnt relalize I had a Picture of Him. Agine at Tallowbox
Mt.
This Picture is down at the bottom of the hill. about a Half a Mile from
the Lookout. Standing next to rogers Truck. It might be hard to see.
I'am packing my Sidearm.
This is Dutchmans Peak Look-out in the Siskiyou Mountains right on the
California Border. The look-out is just about half way between Mount Asland
and Applegate lake. The elevation is at 7.400. you can see what trees look like
at that Hight.
The Next 3 Pictures are taken later on in the year. The first Pictures of my
New Motor Cycle. I had Just bought. None of these are close ups of the new
bike. So we will talk about that later on. Agine I'am at a Fire look-out.
this one is Pelican Butte Look-out. Right on the Klamath Lake area. The best
way for me to tell you where this is at. If you are standing in jacksonville
and looking out over Medford. You can see Mount Mclaughlin. Pelican Butte is
Direcly behind Mclaughlin.
This look-out is Hugely tall. Its big. I climbed all the way to the top and
was really enjoying the Beautifull Veiw. And then I realize the entire Look-out
was swaying back and fourth in the wind. I climbed right back down. Didnt like that.
Here is my Old freind Jesse James. Yup that is His real name. He looks
a bit like charles manson I guess. I have known Him for Years. Jesse.
Not charles. Anyway He was in town for a few days or week. what ever. Here
He and I have driven up to Craterlake. But for somereason I didnt find any Pictures
that we would have taken up at the Lake. So Mabe we were just passing through
on our way to Klamath? I dont Remember. In these next 5 Pictures we have stoped on
the Road going up to Crater lake. There is a very well known spot along the road there
long before you reach the Rim-village-area. With very deep canyons off to the
Left part of the Road. Its easy to see from the Road. Anyway that is where these
Pictures are taken. And as you see Jesse has ventured down the canyon somewhat.
Not a very safe thing to do. But nothing Happend. I didnt go down there.
I was Chicken. (Tech Note.)(I thought everyone might Like to see what my
Thumb Print looks like so I added it the First Picture of My Car.) Thank-You...
These last 2 Pictures are taken somewhere up on 140. I think Notice
the Red Cinder Road.
