I Started My Day off as Usual. The Morning service at Applegate. It was Friday. I wanted to go on one more Hike before the Weekend got here. I could not decide if I wanted to drive back up to TallowBox Mountain and Tackle the Summit. Or If I Wanted to give Mt Isabelle another Try.? By the time I arrived at Church. It was just starting to Rain. Well so Much for that I Guess. By the time the Service was over with. It was Raining Hard. I didnt want to go Home. So I got the wonderfull Idea to take a Drive to Southern Oregon's Only ghost Town. "Buncom Oregon." It is only about 10 Miles from the Church. Very Close by. I Googled it and its true. Its the only Ghost town in the state of Oregon. Interesting. Its very Small. And on this Day I was the Only one there. In this first picture I have gotten out of My Car and Ran to the only Shelter I could find. Raining Very hard at this time. so Lets take a look in Pictures of Buncom Oregon.
Not going to be a whole lot to see Here in Buncom. There is Only Three Building left. As I look around the area I see Evidence of other Structures that once were Here. This First Building I'am at served its Purpose very well. As It gave me a nice dry Place out of the Rain. In My Investigating The Town later on in the Day. (Googled it.) I found out I'am at what was the Town Dance Hall at one time. I think It had been other things as well. That is what We are looking at in these first 15 Pictures..

I have walked across the Road now. The Rain has slowed down somewhat. 5 Minutes later it will be comming down in Buckets. But I will have enough time to get Pictures of the Other two Buildings. And a Couple of cows in the Pasture behind the Town. The Little Building was the Post-Office. The other Building was a Store. And I think A Drinking Place as well. Not Really Sure.

My Remaining 9 Pictures of Buncom are about as exciting as It gets. Just not much here to see or do. I Tryed to find some older Pictures on the Web of the Town. But I didnt see anything older then Me. And it looks the same as now. Well anyway That is it for Buncom Oregon..
