I wanted to go back to The Jacksonville Cemetery and check out the Heavily wooded area that used to be Behind and on Both sides of the Cemetery when I was Growing up there in the 70's This area was our Play-Ground as Kids. It has changed a lot but parts of it are still Intact. In this first Picture I Have just started up the beginning of the woodland Trail system that begines just to the Left of the Beginning of the Cemetery. And In the second Picture I have looked back to where I have been. You will Notice some very old wooden Fence Post still There in the Ground after all these Years. Dont look for any Remaining Square Nails in the Posts. As Kids we took those out way back in the 1970's.. The Entire area has been thinned out and is now pretty open.
Now I have walked a little bit farther ahead to where a New Trail has been cut into the side of the Hill sometime in the last few Years. When we get to the top of the hill before turning to the right You will see another Trail going off to the Left. I think that one will connect up with this one. Also got a couple of Cool shots of Jacksonville.

Now I'am at the end of the Cemetery Propertie. Agine way back 30 years ago this was a very nice Forrest. Just Perfect for Hide & seek. Well everything Changes I guess. You will notice a Black-Chain-Link fence now just afew feet away from the Cemetery Fence. A big House is now on the other side. And now I keep walkiing down the original Trail to where it takes off in to the Forrest and now we come to the Fence agine. The New Trail continues on around the Fence. I was Puzzeled as to why it would be so Heavily Traveled so I Followed it.

Most of the Original Trail going back into the forrest is still there. How ever. All Trails that were to the South west are now Houses. I continued to follow the Trail untill it joined the Big Trail going East to West. That was still there. As well as a Small trail going farther to the North. I began to follow that. Got a Few Pictures of the Granit Pits above J'ville and then I found my self Blocked agine by Houses. That was it. time to Head back where I came from earlyer.

Now its time to Head back to the Car. This little Trip was Kind of a Waist of time. But I got to get some good Walking in. This Trail will come back into the Cemetery just about at the Halfway Point. Last week I got some Pictures of Deer standing right at where this Trail will meet the Cemetery.

And finnally We have the last 6 Pictures I took on this Trip. And You say "good" I know this was a Pretty Boaring Picture Trip. I will try not to have anymore of those. I got in my Car and began to drive down the Cemetery Road When suddently I notice part way down the Road. I could just Barely see the Top Of Mt McLouglin sticking up just behind Roxy-Ann. I Thought to my Self. "Did I notice that Before.???" I Must have known that it was visible from this Vantage Point over the Years. I Must have forgot. so Once I got all the way to the Bottom of the Cemetery Road I Turned around and drove right back to where I had been parked before. Got out and walked down the Road a little bit to get a few Pictures of the Top of McLouglin. Sorry None of them Hardly came out at all. Mabe that Drop on the Ground at the beginning of this trip of My Camera was NOT a Good-Thing.? You Think. So I took a few Shots of Roxy-Ann & McLoughlin and then headed Home. Driving down Hanley Rd nearing Medford. I took a few More Picutres of The Mt's out the Dirty windshield of My Car. This is the only one that looks like anything. The Day after this little Walk in my Old Play-Ground I would take a Trip up to TallowBox-Look-Out in The Applegate Valley with my Old Freind Jr From Church. We had a Great time. Lot of Fun. Pictures & Videos comming soon.
