1967
1966. I was Six. Living in Medford. I started the first Grade. I dont Remember
Much about it. It was at Jackson Elementary School.
Halfway Through the Year we moved to Jacksonville. To a House
on Huener Lane. And I had to continue the first Grade there in J'ville.
I Guess I didnt do very good. The Move caused Problems for me.
And I had to do the first Grade over agine. That was hard. I Remember being
Teased about that for many many Years because I Failed the First Grade.
Well I know better now. So that is why I have 2- First Grade Class Pictures.
I do Remember some of the Kids in this Photo. One I worked with back in the
Early 90's
This is the Photo that apears in the Class Picture above. I'am in the second
row. Second from the left. I do Remember the Moment of the Picture being taken.
I was confused that day. I Remember being shuffled around and not knowing what was
going on. And suddently there is this Big Flash in my Face. Shocking. I didnt
know I was going to get my Picture taken. And then when My Mother saw this Picture.
She was so Disapointed because I didnt Smile. I felt so bad about that for a really
Long time. I just didnt know what was going on that day. The Red Sweater I'am
Wearing My Mother Made. she has allways been a Kniter. Or I guess I should say
She loves to Knit. All of Us Kids had Knited Cloths at this age.
